*Set a goal
Determine how much money you would like to raise for your organization. Let everyone know the goal so they can work together to make it happen.

*Develop a Plan
Plan how much each person must sell to reach your goal. Motivate everyone! Let them know that for every $100 they sell, they will receive a FREE SHIRT of their choice! Have them make a list of all the people they are going to contact about the fundraiser. Family, friends, neighbors, co-workers, etc.

*Make a Schedule
Let everyone know the dates the fundraiser. The fundraiser will last approximately two weeks. Let them know the dates the fundraiser begins, the dates the fundraiser will run and the date the fundraiser ends.

*Excite & Encourage
Throughout the fundraiser, it is important that you excite and encourage everyone frequently. Be enthusiastic. Encourage them to go beyond the GOAL! Excitement & enthusiasm are contagious!

Promote the fundraiser every minute of every day during your fundraiser drive! Use press releases, bulletin boards, posters, reminder letters, newsletters, etc.

As a leader, it is important to keep close contact with everyone participating in the fundraiser. It is important to let them know that you are excited and encouraged by their hard work.

By treating your fundraiser as a mini-business, and making good business decisions, you will increase the chances of reaching your goal.
