Ideas
for a Pro-Life Fair Booth
10x10
booth
Put an ad in the newspaper "Precious Baby" Contest
or you can just keep it in the parish
Ad said: Send a picture of a baby under 2 years of age for
our contest - no entry fee. Then attend the fair and vote
for the most precious baby. The cost for a vote is $1.00.
Mount the pictures on different colored paper (blue, pink,
etc). On the front of each picture have the full name of the
baby and a number.
Have
little squares of paper with baby's name, number, amount paid
and number of votes for people to fill out.
The person manning the booth is responsible for filling in
the paper so that the correct number of votes is bought with
the correct amount of money. Anyone can stop by the booth
and vote.
You
should also have lots of pro-life/abortion information posted
and available for distribution. One booth had an electric
answer board about abortion. Example - Only babies under 2
months can be aborted. True or False. If answered incorrectly,
the board lit up and gave a bad sound.
The
booth should be informative and attractive.
You
can have prizes for the top 3 babies with the most votes.
One booth went to the bank and had $500, $250, and $100 savings
bond donated and they were given to the top 3 babies. They
advertised the bank on their booth.
Approximate
time:
3 hours to cut paper and put pictures, names, numbers on pictures
3 hours to set up booth
3 hours to send picture back (probably better to just keep
pictures)
2 hour shifts for workers
