You do not have to wait until your
renewal date, the DMV will apply any portion
of the license fee on your current license

After
2 long years of legal challenges, the
Louisiana "Choose Life" specialty plate
is now available. The cost of the plate
is only $25 over and beyond the cost of
a regular license plate. This money is
used to assist women with unplanned pregnancies
and those considering adoption.
